Happy Friday Everyone!

During my summer travels, I always try and find a way to include shopping….I refer to it as “research” & “inspiration” for future blog pieces of course. On a recent trip, I  found this Helmut Lang long denim coat , it was love at first sight. This extended jean jacket can be worn pretty much year round and not only is it a great layering piece, it offers so much versatility that  it  will work as a dress. When you calculate the CPW  this coat will be a new wardrobe staple for me.

Finding ways to “change up” your garment so that you can transition it into the next season can be challenging. My recommendation, is to have a playdate in your closet and try on different combinations , take a selfie when it works, so that you can go back to it when you need inspiration. You may also want to consider googling #ootd (outfit of the day) or checking out some Pinterest boards which can  offer lots of outfit inspirations.
